here's to a new year

i love starting over.
and this new years was awesome.
so much family and so much love.

this long weekend was just what i needed. although, it may have ended too sooooooon.
baby boy is growing like a weed. i can't believe i'm in the middle of my 25th week. only 15 weeks to go from here, that is far past incredible.



2011 was full of amazing and i just know this next year is going to top it easily.

we rearranged the bedroom last night for easier midnight potty break access. i find that hilarious. but with the moving we were able to set up our bassinet and i just couldn't stop staring at it. my giant belly means the denial has disappeared and turned into nerves and excitement.

i love all the mommy advice i get from everywhere. my cousin lisa told me instead of buying a fancy pants bassinet that will only be used for a few months each child, just get a pack n play that has the bassinet hook up included. then you've got 2 in one and a lot more use out of it. so for christmas my wonderful in laws bought us an adorable one. but of course it was BROKEN, so we took it in and asked for the same one. i made sure to open it in the store before we left and sure enough, even more broken. so we went with a completely different brand and to my surprise it even had elephants on the mobile! LOVE it. so this is our exact pack n play but with elephants instead of those little teddy bears.

it feels so weird nearing my third trimester. only 2 more weeks and i can't believe it. i look at my friends and family who are just having new babes and it hits me in a new way. i'm so grateful for this chance i have to be a mommy and i just love being a wife to my incredible husband.
